Day 3: Guided Imagery and Visualisation

Day 1: Introduction to Human Givens

This introductory workshop will provide an overview of the Human Givens approach; how it incorporates the use of other disciplines and applies the latest research from neuroscience to assist quick and effective changes in people’s lives.

Day 2: Understanding Anxiety and treating it without drugs

Panic attacks and anxiety, are a problem for many, both children and adults. It is therefore essential that health and social care professionals have the knowledge and skills to address anxiety in the context of their day to day clinical practice. All course related learning should be utilised within the participant’s scope of professional practice, in the multidisciplinary team and with appropriate supervision.

Day 3: Guided Imagery and Visualisation

Guided imagery is a useful tool in the repertoire of professionals who offer psychological interventions in their day to day work by reducing emotional arousal and enhancing relaxation in clients where appropriate. Guided imagery and visualization can help to reframe the client’s life circumstances in a positive and productive way.
